This page will include several links to external websites where you can read books or listen to stories being told online.

TumbleBooks is a subscription-based collection of online books that are read aloud. The picture books have animation added. This is a direct link so you will not need a login.

Read 100+ free, diverse picture books for new readers and those new to English, narrated in 20+ languages, including American Sign Language.

National Geographic Kids is a database provided by the Wyoming State Library. You can read the magazine and over 300 books online through this database. It may require a log-in at home. Ask Mrs. Lucas for log-in information.

Book Hive is the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Library (North Carolina) children's library portal. You can watch professional storytellers tell stories here!

Just Books Read Aloud is a free site with videos of people reading books aloud. In most videos, it is just the book pages that you see while the book is read.

Mrs. P's Magic Library has stories available online for your listening pleasure!

Storynory has audio-only stories for children. It is a free site, and you are able to sign up to listen to the stories on your mp3 player.

Book-Pop is Stephen Cosgrove's Website. He has several of his stories on this site-- some are storybooks, and some are audio only.

ABDO digital is a bookshelf of nonfiction, multi-user ebooks. It requires a username and password, so please see Mrs. Lucas for your school's log-in information.

Epic! is a subscription-based electronic library of thousands of books for students to read online. It does require a log-in, which you can probably get from your teacher. If your teacher isn't using Epic! you can let Mrs. Lucas know and she will add you to her teacher account. Families can also sign up for subscriptions for $4.99/ month.
